Time Trial RESULTS - 12-under Spring Champs
This past weekend, 69 Aquastar swimmers traveled to Klein Oak
High School natatorium to participate in the 12 & Under Spring
Champs Meet and improved in 75% of the events entered. Swimmer
of the Meet, with 43 points scored for Aquastar in a championship
meet, is Kevin Nguyen. Swimmers with 100% best times include
Brian Chau, Rachel Craig, Caroline DeLauro, Nicholas DeLauro,
John Denson, Gannon Dewveall, Riley Franks, Vanessa Gonzalez,
Cooper Guidry, Lauren Johnson, Amanda Jue, Mackenzie Karnilaw,
Cassie Nagle, Kevin Nguyen, Christopher Norlin, Muyan Pan, Luke
Phillips, Sirius Sharma, Hanna Schlegel, Blaise Swartwood, and
James Tomerlin.
The following have achieved times for training group
promotions:
Mackenzie Karnilaw from White to Aqua
Jillian Nelson from Aqua to Blue
JP Nguyen from White to Aqua
Jonathan Nguyen from White to Aqua
Kevin Nguyen from Aqua to Blue
Samantha Norlin from White to Aqua
New TAGS times were achieved by Max Finch in the 10 &
Under boys 50 free and 50 fly, Kevin Nguyen in the 11-12 boys 50
and 100 breast, and all three of the 10 & Under boys
relays.

Fees Individual - $6.25 plus $2.00 per swimmer surcharge
Special note for 8 & under
swimmers:
8 & unders must have a previous time to enter any of the 50-yd
events, the 500-yd freestyle, and the 100-yd IM; No Times
(“NT”) are not allowed for these events.
8 & unders must enter the 100-yd freestyle event with an
available 100-yd Freestyle time, but if unavailable, they may enter
with a “NT” if they have a previous 50-yd freestyle
time.
8 & unders may enter the 100-yd butterfly, backstroke or
breaststroke events if they have a previous 50-yd butterfly,
backstroke or breaststroke time, and will be entered in the meet as
“NT”.
8 & unders may enter the 200-yd freestyle or 200-yd IM events
with a “NT” if they have a previous 100-yd freestyle or
100-yd IM time.

Indicate the dollar amount of meet fees you will owe. Bring a
check for this amount and turn in to the Parent On Deck at practice
BEFORE the meet weekend:
1 event = $6.25+$2 facility fee = $8.25
2 events = $12.50+$2 facility fee = $14.50
3 events=$18.75+$2 facility fee = $20.75
4 events=$25.00 + $2 facility fee = $27.00
5 events = $31.25 + $2 facility fee = $33.25
6 events = $37.50 + $2 facility fee = $39.50
7 events = $43.75 + $2 facility fee = $45.75
8 events = $50.00 + $2 facility fee = $52.00
9 events = $56.25 + $2 facility fee = $58.75

Directions: From I-45 take FM 2920/Spring Cypress exit
and go 4.8 miles west. Turn right on Kuykendahl Rd. Go 1.1 miles
north to Spring Stuebner and turn right. Go .6 miles on Spring
Stuebner and then turn left on Northcrest Dr. Klein Oak High School
is at the corner of Northcrest Drive and Klein Oak Dr.
